You know what its like when you arrive in a foreign country and dont speak the language? Its all very overwhelming and confusing - I hardly know what any of the areas of Hanoi are all about.

When I contacted Alan (Viet name Duy), she was very professional and found out exactly what my requirements were in detail before we even started looking. Most property agents in Hanoi are not that involved and will just show me anything which fits my budget, but Alan wants to take care of the details first such as why I wanted to live in a certain area.

The actual viewings were also great as Alan speak perfect English and is also very funny, she got on very well with my gf which was nice to see.

Only took maybe 4 places before we found my spot and now im very happy here for the next 6 months.
